The Canadian Museum of Flight has a facility and countless artifacts that allow us to cater to the needs of feature film productions, television programs, commercials, news pieces, documentaries, interviews, and music videos.
Our 6000 sq ft display hangar is available for use as a sound stage, or a filming area with aviation related artifacts and aircraft available as background props. Our facility also has a multi-purpose room that was once a café, and if desired it can be easily remodeled to serve as a café or restaurant set.

Our museum has numerous aircraft ranging from WWI biplanes to cold-war jet fighters, and they are available as props for external and internal aircraft shots, including cockpit shots. Our aircraft can all be used for productions shooting scenes on-site, and it can also be arranged for them to be transported to external locations such as movie studios or outdoor filming locations as needed.
Some of the aircraft in our collection are in operational condition and can be made available for live engine runs, taxiing, and even air-to-air shots.
Feel free to reach out to us with what you are looking for, and we will be happy to help. Additionally, because we have numerous connections in the aviation community, we can aid in finding alternate aircraft for your productions that you may not be able to find in our museum’s collection.
