CANOO

Welcoming Newcomers with CANOO

The Canadian Museum of Flight is proud to be a partner in CANOO, Canada’s largest national welcome network. As part of this inspiring initiative, we are thrilled to offer newcomers to Canada the opportunity to explore our museum and connect with the stories, people, and aircraft that helped shape our nation’s aviation history.

CANOO is a program run by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship that provides new Canadian citizens and permanent residents with free VIP access to over 1,400 cultural institutions and natural wonders across the country. Through the CANOO mobile app, eligible newcomers can enjoy complimentary admission to participating museums, science centres, parks, galleries, and historic sites during their first year of citizenship or permanent residency. It’s a powerful way to feel more connected to the places, stories, and experiences that make Canada unique.

At the Canadian Museum of Flight, we believe in the importance of making history accessible and welcoming to all. Aviation is a story of discovery, innovation, and community—values that align perfectly with the mission of CANOO. Whether you’re stepping into a vintage aircraft, learning about Canada’s contributions to global aviation, or sharing stories with our volunteers, we’re honoured to be part of your Canadian journey.

If you’re new to Canada and interested in exploring the Canadian Museum of Flight through the CANOO program, visit forcitizenship.ca/canoo to learn more about eligibility and how to download the app. We look forward to welcoming you to our museum—and to Canada!
