Girls Fly Too, taking place on April 27-28, 2024, at Abbotsford International Airport in B.C., Canada, aims to promote diversity and inspire female future leaders in Aviation, Aerospace, Marine & Defence industries. It’s open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or citizenship, and admission is free with no registration required. The event features hands-on activities, displays, and the opportunity to meet VIPs, including NASA astronauts. Free flights are offered to female first-time fliers to encourage interest in STEM fields. The event is supported by various partners and volunteers and includes food trucks for refreshments.
